$120k- $140K | M-F Outpatient Primary Care | Collaborative Practice
A respected regional healthcare system in southern Vermont is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join an established outpatient primary care practice.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Location: Brattleboro, VT
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 0800–1700, 40 hours per week
- Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine / Primary Care
- Patient Population: Individuals and families across the lifespan
- Start: Ongoing permanent opportunity
- Practice Environment: Collaborative multidisciplinary medical group including primary care, pediatrics, OB/GYN, cardiology, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, and other specialties
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services
-Perform independent medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment within the APRN scope of practice
- Focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness initiatives
- Educate patients and families to support informed healthcare decisions
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and specialty providers
- Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities
- Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 annually
- Compensation based on experience, education, internal equity, and market factors
Requirements:
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Vermont APRN license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license required
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification required
- National NP certification (Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP) highly preferred
- Clean malpractice history required
- Two years of nursing experience prior to advanced practice training is highly preferred
- Minimum one year of NP experience required
